3. Bill Gates has given over $10,000,000,000 over the last ten years for vaccines! This has been estimated to have saved the lives of over 8,000,000 children! Also, Bill has donated, during his lifetime (so far) more than $35 million which represents more than half of his net worth of $61 billion.
4. When Steve Jobs was on his last days, Bill reached out to him and wrote him a letter which Steve kept next to his bedside table.
5. As a kid Bill Gates was very rebellious: he hacked into his school’s program codes so that he could sit next to as many girls as possible.
6. Bill Gates has been working with scientists to develop a new kind of nuclear reactor that would be run on nuclear material that is currently waste. In the US alone, there is enough nuclear waste that represents a total of $100 trillion.
7. Bill Gates has also fought against Malaria caused by mosquitos in underdeveloped countries. With his investment, a device has been developed that kills 100 mosquitoes per second up to a distance of 100 feet by using infrared and laser technology. The production cost is only $50!
