English Audio Request

Note to recorder:

Clear enunciation please (but without overdoing it! ;-), it's for ESL learners. US English accent important, thx. The speed should be normal to slow-ish... and a microphone used (or the text should at least be read close to the computer's mike) to avoid echo (the room where it will be played will echo a lot already). Thx !

This text goes with a map to be filled in with the info provided. This is why it is partial.

In the 19th century, the USA was divided into free states in the North, slave states in the South and other territories in the West.
Slaves took different routes to escape. Some slaves left South Carolina and sailed up the Atlantic Ocean to go to New York. Others followed the Mississippi River from Louisiana to Illinois. From Detroit, they often fled to Canada. Some left Tennessee, crossed the Ohio River, and went to Michigan.
