Why is online shopping so successful?
Well, all sorts of people shop online for all kinds of reasons.
First, you can shop 24 hours a day for any type of product. Then goods are often cheaper – as the seller does not have the costs of running a shop and having to pay wages to salespeople.
A huge advantage of shopping online is also that you can compare products and prices and read reviews written by other people.
Finally you can buy products from all over the world not just from your local supermarket!
So, are there only advantages to online shopping?
Of course not! When you buy online there are shipping costs and there could be a long waiting time to receive the goods you bought. Then, as you can’t see the item you order, it might not exactly correspond to what you expected and you could be disappointed when you get it . Finally it is harder and longer to return faulty goods.
