Afternoon tea
Tea is a popular drink in England. We have afternoon tea at 4 p.m. We have cakes and biscuits, and scones, cream and jam.
Sandwiches and snacks
In England we love sandwiches. We have cucumber sandwiches for afternoon tea.
And we like snacks: crisps,chocolate,chips.
We eat baked beans on toast for breakfast, lunch or dinner!
Bangers and mash is a funny name: bangers are sausages, and mash is mashed potato.
The "shepherd's pie": a traditional English dish with minced lamb, vegetables and mashed potatoes on top.
Indian food is very popular in England, especially curry and rice.
