Note to recorder:

European Portuguese (Português de Portugal) only, please. Tom de conversa informal e ritmo normal/rápido, sff :) Obrigada!

Divergem as opiniões relativamente ao melhor momento de o visitar. Uns dizem que ao amanhecer; outros, ao meio-dia; e ainda outros ao pôr-do-sol. Eu já o vi das três maneiras, mas, sem dúvida, prefiro o amanhecer, quando a contraluz transmite às colunas certa magia e pinta de oiro a Praça, com certeza, a última imagem da Pátria na memória dos marinheiros doutrora.

This is not something you'd find in informal speech. It uses complex sentence structure (inversion of subject and verb in "Divergem as opiniões" and omision of verb in "que ao amanhecer") and archaic words like "oiro" instead of "ouro", more common in literary works. I replaced a comma with a period at the end: it wasn't wrong, it just sounded weird when reading.
It was a hard recording, but I can try with a more informal tone if you're not happy with the results

Thank you so much...for both the recording and the comment, the latter of which made me laugh, btw.

There is a very good reason why you wouldn't find anything like that in informal speech: I wrote it! Actually, it's a loose translation of part of a comment left by a Spanish tourist; I confess to dressing it up a bit :)

Hmmm...Your observation made me consider switching registers, but my students' levels and interests run the gamut, so I need to have a variety of offerings. I have 5 of these "visitor comments", ranging from extremely informal to this one.

Regarding a redo, let's keep this one for right now. I'll post the other "visitor comments" soon; maybe you'll prefer one of those.

Thank you again!
