Would you mind to listen to the audio file and give me feedback on my pronunciation?
I hope also you can record the sentences to me
If the statement above came from some cable TV documentary it would be easy to dismiss it as scaremongering. However, it actually comes from a report published by Britain’s Ministry of Defence. The comment refers to Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs), popularity known as ‘’drones’’ Military UAV’s serve two purposes: spying and killing – many do both. Drones come in all sizes: the smallest are the size of a laptop, the largest has a wingspan of over 100 metres. This giant is designed to fly nonstop for five years! Most are fixed-wing aircraft but some of the small ones are more like helicopters and hover. These ‘’quadrotors’’ are amazingly manoeuvrable being able to fly through or around almost any obstacle.
Watch out for your "r"s...an English r is not rolled or flapped on the top your mouth.
Have your tongue resting gently at the bottom of your mouth and then roll it slightly backwards while humming in your throat.
Watch out for "th". You need to have your tongue between your teeth. Somethime "th" is voiced (the) and sometimes not (this) but it is never "t". If I look in the mirror, I can just see the tip of my tongue poking between my teeth.
Your "s" is slurred. To say "s" you need to raise the front of your tongue almost to your aveolar ridge so you make a sort of tunnel to push the air through. Your "s"es sound to me as if you have your tongue between your molars and the tip of your tongue turned down.
