世界中のRPGファンに衝撃を与えた『Fallout 3』から一年強、『Fallout』シリーズの完全新作『Fallout: New Vegas（フォールアウト： ニュー・ベガス）』がついに日本でも発売されることが決定した。本作は、核戦争後の荒廃した世界で、ひとりのキャラクターとなって旅をし、プレイヤーそれぞれの物語を紡いでいく、自由度の高いRPGだ。“ベガス”という新たな土地に舞台を移し、3つの勢力による争いを中心にした物語が展開していく。その中でどう行動するかは、プレイヤーの判断にゆだねられ、その結末もプレイヤーの数だけ存在する。
