My life suddenly changed when I adopted my first cat. It all started when a group of children found a kitten in the street, hiding under a car, and they took her to a vet. As it happens, this vet is a friend of a friend’s, and my friend insisted on my adopting the kitten. When I saw the kitten, I took pity on her and I took her home. I must say, the first night I was not feeling well. You see, I wasn’t sure I had made the right decision, and I thought I might bring her back to the vet the following day, but when I woke up and I saw her sleeping at my feet, I understood I couldn’t give her back. This new presence in my house brought me joy and also kept me company and often made me laugh. To be honest, it was difficult for me to get used to organizing my life around my cat’s needs. Besides, I also had to get used to stopping doing whatever I was doing and playing with her whenever she wanted. Nevertheless, I am extremely thankful that my cat turned up and changed my life.
