One upon a time there was a big gray wolf….
Hello Mr Gray Wolf! You look sad!
“Im sad, I don’t like my color! I don’t want to be gray!”
Wolf has an idea! He is going to change his color!
On Monday , Wolf tries green. He puts his hand into green paint and paints green all over his body
Look, Wolf is green now! He looks at himself in the mirror. “Yuck! I look awful! I look like a fat frog. I don’t want to be green. Green is a bad idea”
On Tuesday, Wolf puts on his red sweater and a pair of red stockings. With his red clothes on, he looks at himself in the mirror.
“Yuck, I look awful! Now I look like Santa Claus. And I don’t like Christmas! I don’t want to be red Red is a bad idea!”
On Wednesday, Wolf goes into the farmer’s garden and picks all the pink roses. Then he covers himself in the pink petals of the pink roses.
He looks at himself in the mirror,
“Yuck! I look awful! Now I look like a princess! I don’t want to be pink. Pink is a bad idea!”
On Thursday, Wolf goes into an ice-cold bath. He is so cold that when he cames out of the bath, he turns blue!
He looks at himself in the mirror.
“Yuck, I look awful! I look like a bunch of lilac flowers! I don’t want to be blue! Blue is a bad idea!”
On Friday, Wolf eats lots of oranges. Then he sticks all the orange peels all over his body. He looks at himself in the mirror.
“Yuck, I look awful! I look like a giant carrot ! I don’t want to be orange. orange is a bad idea!
On Saturday, Wolf rolls around in a big puddle of mud. When he is all brown, he looks at himself in the mirror.
“Yuck, I look awful! .. and I smelI awful! . I don’t look like anything at all. I don’t want to be brown. Brown is a bad idea!”
On Sunday, Wolf goes hunting for peacocks. He finds a peacock sleeping and he takes his feathers.
Then he puts the peacocks feathers all over his body and he looks at himself in the mirror.
“Oooh, this time I look handsome!” But because he looks so handsome, all day long, all the girls follow him. The poor multi-colored wolf has no peace at all.
“You are so handsome, Wolf” “Oh, how handsome you are, Wolf” “You do look so handsome, Wolf” “Oooh, I loooove your peacock feathers!”
Finally, one evening, he looks at himself in the mirror. “I don’t want to be green, red, pink, blue, orange, brown, or even multi-colored!”
“Finally I am happy just being a Gray Wolf!”
and he never tried to change his color again!
