Generally speaking, Americans don't use "mustn't" very often in normal speech. We would say "should not" (shouldn't) or "cannot" (can't), instead.

I agree with y02mustang. You almost never hear "mustn't" used in normal speech. It sounds like something my grandmother might say. :) "Shouldn't" or "can't" are both acceptable and more commonly used instead of "mustn't." Even though "mustn't" isn't really used, you do still hear "must" frequently.
