What kind of name is Erdrick anyway. :P

I assumed "Tala sean med" was "Tala sedan med".

Thanks for the recording! This is from a Swedish fan translation of the original Dragon Warrior for the NES (Dragon Quest in Japan).

I don't know if you are familiar with the series, but in the Japanese version your ancestral hero is named Loto/Roto (ロト). Whoever localized the game into English must have decided that that name wasn't medieval enough, so they changed it to something that sounds like Old English. To me, Erdrick sounds like the kind of name you'd find in Beowulf.

There are a few typos in the script, so I bet your hunch about "sedan" is right.
