Note to recorder:

One of my students entered the English Speaking Contest and he needs a recorded file to practice. Please record it using an appropriate tone for the contest. I need it ASAP. Thanks.

Have you ever dreamed of flying in the air?
Ever since the Wright brothers invented the plane, it’s been no longer just a dream for humans to fly in the sky. How amazing!
Hi everyone, my name is Joohyun Lee, a 5th grader in Gyeongju elementary school.
My dream is to become a pilot who protects our airspace for our country.
Honestly, being a pilot wasn’t really on my radar. The one who inspired me to be a pilot is my uncle, who currently works in the Korean Air Force. He usually talked about a pilot and sometimes took me to the Air Force Academy and some of their signature events.
When I took part in Air Force events, pilots, wearing a pilot suit, walking through an airstrip, and aircraft flying in the air in perfect line gave a massive impression to me. Since then, I wanted to be like them, protecting our airspace with driving a cool aircraft. So I started to learn how to become a pilot by watching flight simulation and a pilot’s life to make my dream come true.
To become a pilot, it requires lots of knowledge, strong physical strength, and mentality to survive from hard training. Only a few people can escape from the training and become a pilot. Therefore, I decide to make a plan and stick to it until I achieve my dream.
First, I will continuously get lots of information on pilots by participating as many Air shows and Air Force events as possible. There are many sections that I can learn and experience a pilot’s life from those events. Second, I will keep studying harder and harder to get more knowledge. Lastly, to develop my physical strength and mentality, I will keep practicing Tae-kwon-do and any other training. These will be a great help for me to become a successful pilot.
“Dreams come true.” I firmly believe that I can become a “Top Gun” pilot and protect our airspace if I keep working on it. Nobody -I mean, whether they are human or even aliens -will invade our airspace until I allow them to be in.
Thank you for listening.
