haha wow cool!!! But your accent is partly Southern and partly Northern :) at the beginning, your accent is more southern, but not totally Southern, it remains a little bit Northern (some words). your accent is more Northern at the end of the recording :) I am Vietnamese living in the South of Vietnam :)

I lived in the South since I was born. However my family originally came from the North. I guess these thing influenced my accent.

where do you live???

Crybaby

although the script is grammatically correct, it has some words which are not proper. The content has some problems and the pronounces are also weird :)

I am currently living in Northeast coast of United States.
I agree. The script is correct, it read like coming from a textbook.

so you may be laughing at my bad English huhu :( Feeling sad! I am trying to practice English :) Hope you can help me ^^ I do not think the script is from a textbook. because the pronouns are messy ^^ Are you learning Vietnamese? or your Vietnamese is already perfect? :) because you are also Vietnamese??? Do you have Facebook and Skype? Ah, How long have you lived in the US? :)

I came to US about four years ago. It was tough at the beginning but gradually everything works out.
My English is flawed. There are lots of constructions and grammar points that I ignore in my speech and writing. Luckily, Autocorrect saved me, you and everyone from seeing my horrific spelling.
However, I can see that your help English is pretty good. From the comment, your English is not much of a different from Americans around me. You might be even better than those teenager Americans ( imagine Vietnamese teenagers online writing and you can see how proper English is rare in today social media ).
I do have a Facebook but I don't use it much.
I wish you best thing in your language learning career.

haha thank you! I am trying my best to improve my English. how old are you now??? Do you have Skype?? we can help each other easier ^_^ I enjoy help Vietnamese learners. But if you had gone to the US just 4 years ago, why do you have to learn Vietnamese? just out of curiosity :p

haha I am 3 years older than you :p I wish I could study in the US in the future. But I think it will be just in my dream. It never comes true :( You are so lucky! Did you family move to the US to live there??? You have experienced the learning environment in the US, can you tell me about it??? :)

Sorry for late response.
Yeah I moved to US with my family. My experience with the American culture has been positive. There are differences. I don't know much about US colleges. I think that the American education system teaches the student to be more independent and practical. However they don't stress much on the rigour of what you learnt

Hi, guys! Sorry I am so late to responding to your comments here. I am a native English speaker. Do you have any questions about learning English?

Also, thanks to darkzuik for the recording!

Hi seekingsilence! wow so you are learning Vietnamese? that's amazing! why do you learn Vietnamese? How long have you learned Vietnamese?

I am trying to practice and improving my English speaking skill. Because I don't have many opportunities to have real practice with native English speakers, my speaking skill is still bad :( I often have problems with describing my idea as well as what I want to talk about :(
