Do you believe in friendships between men and women?
When I was younger and single, I was not able to believe in it. I couldn't count how many times my sister, who was very casual with making male friends, and I argued about it.
Since my sister was so popular among boys from a young age, it was just a natural thing for her to make male friends. On the contrary, I used to be a very reserved person and had few occasions to make even female friends, let alone male friends.
Since I started learning psychology to enhance my communication skills, I have been changing myself; also, my ideas about friendships have changed.
From a moral standpoint, as a wife, I might be straying from the right path by making male friends. What do you think? We couldn't talk about it without thinking of adultery.
As for me, I currently don't have any intention to be a promiscuous woman, and a friendship with a member of the opposite sex is a pleasing and blessing event in my life.
I can come across foreign concepts in many fields while talking with them, and it helps me think and act flexibly.
Being flexible and open minded is one of my desires in life. Male friends could help me with it, I truly believe!
