Nina, would you like a pause left between each pair so that students can repeat what they've heard?

Hi Delli, If possible, yes, otherwise, I can use Audacity to do it.
I've posted many "files", I know it's a huge work...
By the way, I confirm you what I told you concerning "s" pronunciation in French names : you mustn't pronounce them ;-)
Take care ! Nina

I didn't record Minimal pairs = [ i: ] vs [ I ], because I don't understand what it means. Hope the rest was at a correct speed...

Hi Kee !
Thank you very much for the job you did :-)
You nailed it.
Actually, minimal pairs are words in which one sound in a syllable is very similar to another one in another word. And if you mispronounce it, it can be a huge mistake (e.g beach / bitch - sheet / shit :-) ). In French, we have only one /i/ sound, similar to the one appearing in sheet and beach. The other sound /I/ is similar to an "é" (bébé = for baby). My pupils have to distinct both not to be misunderstood.
Thanks a million again !
