Note to recorder:

Natural speed. An Australian native speaker accent would be especially lovely, but happy to get recordings with all other accents.

An audio clip of a single word has divided the internet. Social media exploded last week because people could not agree on what the clip said. The clip became even more popular when it was featured on The Ellen Show. Internet users were quickly divided into two camps, Team Yanny and Team Laurel.

Listen for yourself and decide what you hear.

Audio experts have explained that people who can hear higher frequencies will hear, "Yanny," and people who can't will hear the word, "Laurel" playing on the lower frequency.
