Hello! It’s Charlie! How are you? I hope you are fine. Sorry, I haven't send you a message for a long time. I was very busy because… I moved to a new house! Yes, I have a new house in a new neighbourhood. It is a very quiet place, in a new city. My parents wanted to be closer to the city center for their work. And now, my school is closer too. I go to school by bus now. I am very happy because the house is beautiful and big.
It is a big detached house. Outside, there is a garden. It is a big garden. In the garden, there is a small swimming pool during summer. There is also a swing and a slide for my little sister, Heather. There are trees and flowers too. I like playing in the garden when it is sunny.
Inside, the house is bigger than our old house. There is a big living room. In the living room, there is a big sofa, a table to eat with six chairs, and a television. I like to watch TV with my family in the evening.
The kitchen is very nice and well-equipped. There is a fridge and a freezer, an oven, a microwave, and a dishwasher. There isn’t a table in the kitchen, we always eat in the living room. My parents are often in the kitchen because they love cooking together. I sometimes help them cook.
There are two toilets in the house: one downstairs and one upstairs. Upstairs, there are three bedrooms: my parents’ bedroom, my bedroom, and my sister’s bedroom. My parents’ room is big, and there is a small balcony with a view of the garden. My room and my sister’s room are medium-sized. I am happy because I could decorate my room. In my bedroom, there is a bed, a wardrobe, and a desk to do my homework. I also have a bookshelf for all my books because, you know how I love reading! In my sister’s room, there is a bed too, of course. There is a wardrobe and a little corner with her toys. There isn’t a desk because she is still very small; she doesn’t go to school yet.
The bathroom is big. We all use the same bathroom. In the bathroom, there is a bathtub, a shower, and a double sink.
Next time you come to visit me. You can sleep with me because, in my new room, there is enough space for a small bed for friends.
