Note to recorder:

Please, If you are alone doing this, try to make 2 voices as it is an interview that I am going to play to my students in class.
Also, they are not really proficient, so a slow speed would be perfect. IF you have a British accent, it is even better, but not necessary.

Detective :“Please, state you name, age, profession and address for the record.”
Witness: “My name is Allan Watts, I am 40 years old, I work as a curator at the National Portrait Gallery and I live at 23b Hamson Street, London.”
D: “Ok, Mr. Watts, please tell me what happened.”
W: “Alright, so … This morning when I went to my mailbox to collect my mail, I saw that the postman gave me a letter that was addressed to Mr. Hasenrald. So, naturally, I went to his apartment to give it to him. When I arrived in front of his door, I knocked, and when I knocked, the door opened. That was quite unusual for him, because I know that he always locked his door. Anyway, I came in, and I called to see if anybody was home. And that was when I saw him, on the floor with a pool of blood around him. I dropped the letter and I called you right away.”
D: “Ok, Mr Watts. Did you hear anything suspicious last night?”
W: “No, I did not.”
D: “What were you doing last night, around 10?”
W: “I was sleeping. I fell asleep quite early yesterday.”
D: “Was there someone with you?”
W: “I’m afraid not, I was alone.”
D: “Alright, please take my card. In case you remember something, please, give me a call.”
W: “Will do detective. Thank you.”
