モスクワでは１月１６日、国際交流基金の主催によって、「日本文化の日」が催された。イベントが開かれたのは、国立プーシキン美術館に付属する子供の為の教育センター。
　ロシア人講師たちによって、折り紙や生け花、茶道、書道、琴や三味線などのマスタークラスが開かれ、子供から大人までの幅広い年代のロシア人たちが、日本文化に親しんだ。
